Team Format
- Each team consists of 3 members, with at least one female participant.
- Open to current RMIT students and staff from all three campuses (Saigon South, Hanoi, and Danang).
- Alumni and participants under 18 are not eligible.
Platforms
Participants will use Strava application to record and track activities, and Vietrace365 website as the official challenge portal to log results.
Accepted Activities
- Running, jogging, or walking activities that generate distance (indoor or outdoor).
- Activities must be recorded through Strava and synced with Vietrace365.
How to Join
1. Registration
- Create a personal Strava account if you don’t already have one. Detailed Strava setup guide: [Click here]
- Complete the registration form HERE
- After registration, you will receive an email with a Vietrace365 challenge link from the organizers.
- Click the link and follow the instructions to:
- Create a Vietrace365 account.
- Find your team’s name (as listed in your registration form) and select “Join Team.”
- Sync your Strava account with the Vietrace365 platform.
2. Sync Your Activities
- You only need to connect Strava to Vietrace365 once. After that, all activities recorded during the challenge will sync automatically.
- Record your activities using Strava.
- Ensure your Strava activities are set to Public so they can be verified.
Milestones and Rewards
Team Milestones:
- First 30 teams to reach 250 km → each member receives a Student Life backpack + lanyard combo.
- First 25 teams to reach 500 km → each member receives an RMIT Active casual wear shirt.
Grand Prizes:
Top 3 overall teams with the highest accumulated distance will receive vouchers from Gotit
1st place: 5mil voucher
2nd place: 3 mil voucher
3rd place: 2 mil voucher
I. Rules and Regulations
1. Eligible Activities
- All indoor and outdoor on-foot activities that generate distance and can be recorded by Strava are accepted.
- Not accepted: swimming, and any activity assisted by vehicles (motorcycles, bicycles, electric scooters, etc.)
- Note on indoor activities: Treadmill, elliptical, and other indoor machines are accepted as long as they generate measurable distance, and the distance is successfully recorded on Strava.
2. Pace Requirements
- To ensure fairness and accuracy:
- Valid pace per kilometer: between 4:00 min/km (maximum speed) and 20:00 min/km (minimum speed). (speed 3-15km/h)
- Any distance generated outside this valid pace or speed will result in discarding that entire activity.
3. Activity Counting Timeline
- If you register before 1 December, your activities will be counted from 00:00 on 1 December.
- If you register on or after 1 December, your activities will start counting from 00:00 the following day.
4. All Strava activities must be set to Public to be validated and synced to Vietrace365.
5. Christmas Break Bonus Week: Double Your Distance! From December 22 to December 28, 2025
During the Christmas Break, every valid activity you record will count for DOUBLE the distance
6. The performance recording time is calculated based on moving time.
7. All decisions made by the Organizing Committee are final.
II. Disclaimer for RMIT Virtual Active Challenge 2025
By registering for the RMIT Virtual Active Challenge 2025, I confirm that:
1. Accuracy of Information
The information I provide is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
2. Eligibility & Health
All three members of my team are:

- 18 years old or above at the time of registration
- In good health and physical condition
- Not under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Sufficiently qualified to participate in the Challenge
3. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in this Challenge—whether on or off campus—carries inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries, accidents, or, in extreme cases, death. I voluntarily assume all risks and release RMIT Vietnam from any liability, claims, or actions arising from my participation.
4. Medical Assistance on campus
First aid and medical assistance are available through International SOS for RMIT students and staff on campuses.

5. Use of external platforms
The external platforms used in the Challenge, e.g., Strava and Vietrace365, may be associated with accessing to my personal information for verifying participation, tracking performance, generating results of the Challenge, administrative and reporting purposes, including:

- Email address / Social media account
- Activity data (distance, pace/speed)
I acknowledge that my participation in the Challenge and the use of these platforms is voluntary. I may choose to opt out. However, this may limit my ability to fully participate in the Challenge.
6. Image Use
I agree that images of me taken during the event may be used by RMIT Student Life for promotional purposes.
7. Rules & Regulations
I have read and agree to the Virtual Active Challenge Rules and Regulations available on the event page on SharePoint.
8. Liability Waiver
I consent to participate in the RMIT Virtual Active Challenge 2025 and release RMIT Vietnam, its facilities, organizers, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from all liability, claims, or actions arising from my participation.
I agree not to sue and to indemnify RMIT Vietnam for any related claims, including legal costs.
